Disabled American Veterans

We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.

Help Us Change Lives

A few ways you can support the DAV of Dutchess County

Commander's Message

Welcome to the DAV Chapter 144 website. This is intended to be a method for communications with our membership. It will be used to disseminate information to our membership, provide a source for our veterans to get answers to their questions, an initial step for veterans submitting claims for disabilities they incurred while in military service and discovering all the benefits which they are entitled. As we build this website, we will provide information on the programs that Chapter 144 has in place now and a calendar of events so you can make plans to participate.

If you know of a veteran in need, contact the DAV Chapter 144 office and we will either provide direct assistance or connect them with the appropriate services to fulfill their needs.

This is our site and it will only be as good as we make it. Constructive feedback and participation is always welcome.
